GT-782 Printer Support

Download “GT782Setup_32bit.zip” on your PC and extract it. Then move out “GT782Setup” folder from the zip folder (with “zipped-folder” icon). Read “3-3. Preparing Your PC” in Instruction Manual (it is in [ Brother GT-782 Tools ] of your PC) and follow the instructions.

Download “GT782Setup_64bit” on your PC and extract it. Then move out “GT782Setup” folder from the zip folder (with “zipped-folder” icon). Read “3-3. Preparing Your PC” in Instruction Manual (it is in [ Brother GT-782 Tools ] of your PC) and follow the instructions.

This application is for Multiple Pass Printing function and some minor updates.

Be sure to upgrade Printer Driver ver. 2.1.0 together.

Download the “GT-782Update4.20.exe” on your PC and connect GT-782 printer to your PC with USB 2.0 cable. Run “GT-782Update4.20.exe” by doubleclick. The wizard will start. Read carefully the indications there and update GT-782 printer.

After the update, be sure to turn OFF and ON the printer manually by the indications.

It may take several minutes to update the firmware.

The initial updated manual is in English, even if you have installed in German, French, Spanish or Italian. Download the PDF files of Instruction Manual and Basic Manual then overwrite in the folder below (where the system drive is “C”):

• 64bit (Vista®, Windows® 7, Windows® 8) - C:\Program Files (x64)\Brother\GT Tools
• 32bit (XP, Vista®, Windows® 7, Windows® 8) - C:\Program Files\Brother\GT Tools

Other European Languages (DE, FR, ES, IT) are available upon request.

Be sure to update the Print Driver to the latest 2.2 version. 1 Download “GT782PDIP.zip” and unzip on your PC. 2 Use the version for your PC (32bit or 64bit). 3 Be sure to keep the .exe and .dll file in the same folder when using the PDIP system.

This program will recognize and open “.bmp, .gif, .jpg, and .png” formats. This is not a graphic image editing software. This is for outputting an image that has gradients and fades to the Brother GT-782 printer. It will also correct slight anti alias issues.
