    GTX4 Series Driver Package for Win 32/64bit

    This driver is compatible with Windows® 7 (32bit/64bit), Windows® 8.1 (32bit/64bit) and Windows® 10 (32bit/64bit). This driver requires CPU of 2.0 GHz or better and a minimum of 4 GB of RAM. A monitor display of XGA (1024 x 768) or higher is required.

    Update to firmware 3.1 on your GTX printer before installing this printer driver. The reason being is if the PC already has the 3.1.3 printer driver installed first, the new printer driver will downgrade automatically once connected.

    Included in this package is “GTX4_Series_Driver_Package_v3.1.3_for_Win_v2”, “GTX4FIRM3130001.bwf” and the “GT Garment Printer Driver uninstall tool”.

    Unplug the USB cable from the printer to the PC and check to make sure there are no documents stuck in the printer queue. After unzipping the file open the GT Garment Printer Uninstall Tool folder and double click on the BrRemPnP.exe (the only icon in color) executable file to run the tool. This tool is for Windows® operating system computers only.

    When you initially install the driver make sure the GTX printer is not plugged into the PC. Next open the “GTX4_Series_Driver_Package_v3.1.3_for_Win” folder and double click the setup.exe file. The system will select the OS automatically. Follow the prompts on screen.

    • If you are running both a GTX-4 printer and a GT-3 series driver from the same PC you will need to upgrade the GT-3 driver to 2.5 first.
    • New Features include:
      • The printer will now prompt you daily to agitate the white ink for 60 seconds.
      • GTX Head Replacement feature has been added. With a step through process under the Start Menu>Brother GTX Tools section.
      • You can now check the alignment status of the white and color on either a pretreated shirt, black paper or transparent film.
      • New double layer feature added to the driver for an extra layer of white
      • Timer was added to the white color pause feature for more control of the pause length
      • Upgraded Graphics Lab

      • When loading images or text, they will now automatedly align to the center and top of the artboard.

    Download "GTX-4_Series_Driver_Package_v3.1.3_for_Mac_ v2.zip" and extract it to your desktop. This driver works with Sierra OS 10.12 up to Mojave OS. This driver requires CPU of 2 GHz or better and a minimum of 4 GB of RAM. A monitor display of XGA (1024 X 768) or higher is required. When you initially install the driver make sure the GTX printer is not plugged into the MAC.

    Update to firmware 3.13 on your GTX printer before installing this printer driver. The reason being is if the PC already has the 3.1.3 printer driver installed first, the new printer driver will downgrade automatically once connected.

    • Download the “GTX4FIRM3130001.bwf” file
    • Execute "GTX Firmware Update" in [ Brother GTX-4 Tools ] and select the unzipped Firmware Data (extension ".bwf").
    • Follow the Wizard and update the GTX-4 Firmware. Do not disconnect the USB cable in execution.

    Instillation

    • Update to firmware 3.1 on your GTX printer before installing this printer driver. See the description under the firmware download for the update notes. The reason being is if the PC already has the 3.1.3 printer driver installed first, the new printer driver will downgrade automatically once connected.
      1. Make sure you are running firmware 3.1 on your GTX printer first!
      2. Unplug both camera and GTX from the computer.
      3. Uninstall the GTX software. Please watch our video “How to Uninstall and Update your GTX Printer Driver” to make sure this is done properly.
      4. Uninstall camera software.
      5. Install or repair C++ files (both files)
      6. Then install GTX printer driver.
      7. Next install camera software.

    It is very important to reboot the computer when prompted during the instillation process.

    Requirements

    • This Software only works on Windows 7 (64bit), Windows 8.1 (64bit), Windows 10 (64bit)
    • CPU with 2GHz or above
    • RAM with 4 GB or above.
    • Display Resolution XGA (1024x768) or higher.
    • Requires GTX print driver 3.1.3
    • Make sure that the PC system configuration settings are set to High Performance, Turn off any power-savings
    • Connect to USB 3.0 port only, not USB 2.0 port. You may need to check the specifications for your particular PC, as USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 ports look the same. The 3.0 is denoted by the SS USB symbol.
    • Use only the USB 3.0 cable supplied with the AG304. If a longer cable is needed, use a high performance USB 3.0 cable no longer than 3 meters (9 feet) to connect a wall-powered USB 3.0 hub to the USB 3.0 port on the PC. Then plug the USB 3.0 cable of the AG304 into the hub. Make sure the hub is powered and connected to the PC before attempting to connect the AG304 AccuLine camera USB 3.0 cable to the hub.
    • Disable screen-saver programs on the PC.
    • Disable any other cameras built in of connected to the PC or it will cause conflicts with the camera software.

    GT-3 Series 16x18 Platen Tool

    Download “GT3 Use Platen For Version 2.4.0.1.zip”, this tool is used if you have the 16x18 platen for your GT3. The tool will add the platen size to your print driver menu; it will also check your firmware version so the machine will accept this print area. This tool is for Windows OS only.

    • Be sure to update the Print Driver Version 2.4.0.1 or the tool will not work
    • This will give you this 16x18 option in your graphics Software and P-Dip.
