The Brother GT-3 Series printer has provided my firm with the ability to produce dark shirts in an easy, economical manner with fast turnaround and create intricate and vibrant designs that are less costly than using the screen printing method.

North Texas Ink and Embroidery, located in Trenton, Texas, a suburb north of Dallas/Ft. Worth, began in 2007 as a part-time business producing t-shirts and other garments with a Brother single-head PR-600 embroidery unit. As the business began to grow, the owners, Andrew Preston and his wife Tammy, wanted to produce dark shirts in an easy, economical manner without installing a silk screen machine. Preston chose to install the new Brother™ GT-3 Series garment printer in the spring of 2012.

The Brother™ GT-3 Series garment printer gave them the ability to print with white ink on dark clothing, keep the customer’s designs on file for future re-orders, and help produce much more intricate and vibrant designs faster and less costly than using the screen printing method.

Preston says that Brother™ has provided excellent customer support and that the Brother™ GT-3 Series printer is intuitive and easy to use and maintain. He and his wife have gained so much more business with the Brother™ GT-3 Series printer that they plan to open the business full-time in 2013.

“The Brother™ GT-3 Series printer has provided my firm with the ability to produce dark shirts in an easy, economical manner with fast turnaround and create intricate and vibrant designs that are less costly than using the screen printing method,” says Preston. “Our customers are pleased that their designs are easily re-printable and we’re pleased that we can offer a high-quality method to produce these popular shirts.”
